Meet Team Bliss
We are a group of teens from 18-13 years old who all use yoga in different ways and want to raise awareness that yoga is for young people no matter your fitness, background or gender. We believe that yoga has huge benefits and we are on a mission to spread it with our peers. Find out more about us here

Robin Watkins Davis -18 years old
Random fact : She was born in Tasmania.
Robin did her teacher training at the young age of 16 with Charlotta Martinus which makes her one of the UK’s youngest ever certified yoga teacher . She set up Bliss by Robin and is in search of expanding this project globally in order to connect with more teen yogis. Robin has so much wisdom to share with the world. She teaches 10 hours a week in a prison and in schools as well as being in Art college.

Asher Courts- 16 years old
Random fact: Holds the title of fastest cow milker in his region.
Asher is a rugby player who is studying for his A levels at school. He is deeply fascinated by outer space and often ponders on questions such as “ if the world was flat , would we be able to jump off it?” Asher uses a breathing method where he counts in order to control anger issues which he is often faced with.

Leila Sweeney – 18 years old
Random fact: She is a manager of a restaurant.
Leila expresses herself through movement such as dance and yoga. She has used yoga as a way of combatting addictive patterns in her life. She hoped to prove to people that addictive patterns can be subsidised with your breathe and seeing inside of yourself. Leila is empathetic and will make sure you leave with a smile on your face.

Edie Bainbridge- 18 years old
Random fact: She is a horse vaulter.
Edie is an A level student who is fascinated by neuropsychology. She initially started using techniques of yoga in 2013 to help her overcome anxiety problems. She now uses a technique called colour imagery to help give her a positive outlook on life and to keep calm in stressful situations.

Rebecca Dion- 18 years old
Random fact : She can speak four languages.
After having suffered from Autoimmune Encephalitis in 2014 , Rebecca found her way to a yoga practice in order to regain her strength. She has used yoga as a way to connect with other people as well as to overcome a physical illness. Recently, she has fallen in love with acro yoga practice and can be often be seen basing yoga teachers .

Gabe Owens– 18 years old
Random fact: Self taught Pianist
After a disastrous art project Gabe found yoga as a way to distress. He initially didn’t know whether yoga was for him due to the high number of women who attended the class . After a few classes , he realised that he would ignore the typical stereotypes of yoga in order to focus on his own practice on his mat.

Flo Cross - 13 years old
Random fact: Started her own girl’s rugby team
Flo has multiple hobbies including textiles and SCUBA diving. She is a studious person who uses yoga as a tool when needed in-between the stressful moments of life. Flo really enjoys the spiritual side of yoga and is keen to spread the practice to other young people.
